FORUM Credit Union is searching for a dynamic Personal Banking Specialist to join the team. As a Personal Banking Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial journeys of our members.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Be the primary contact for internal and external inquiries related to commercial loans and associated products.

  • Assess and evaluate member needs to recommend suitable financial products and services, referring to other lines of business as necessary.

  • Ensure follow-through on requests for products/services, resolving any concerns promptly.

  • Support the application process for new commercial loans, adhering to all lending policies and procedures.

  • Assist with opening new consumer account products, following all policies and procedures.

  • Maintain current knowledge of Credit Union business and consumer loan and deposit products and services.

  • Attend networking functions to increase community awareness of the business services offered by the Credit Union.

  • Compile and maintain business lending reports as needed.

  • Provide ideas and input for improving consumer and business products.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or extensive in-house training program.

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.

  • Ability to maintain regular attendance.
