Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated Event Set Up & Maintenance Technician to join our building services team.

 

The Event Set Up & Maintenance Technician will report to the VP Administration for all phases of general repair maintenance, physical condition of the property and the preventative maintenance programs of the property to the end that the property is maintained at all times in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation. 

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities consist of:

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the Event Center to meet high standards for prospective clients.

  • Ensure regular maintenance, cleaning, and repair of all Event Center tables and chairs.

  • Perform grounds work, including painting, mowing, weeding, snow removal, and trash removal for curb appeal.

  • Service and perform minor repairs on appliances, equipment, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as needed.

  • Assist in managing and documenting preventative maintenance programs.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of exterior lighting and structural repairs.

  • Report potential maintenance problems to the VP Administration and suggest solutions.

  • Foster good relationships with staff, vendors, and tenants while adhering to safety precautions and policies.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • A high school education or GED
  • One year to three years of similar or related experience
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Demonstrated knowledge and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
  • CAMT certification preferred
