The primary focus of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to transform data into actionable insights that drive business value.  This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to support informed decision making and strategic planning.   

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities consist of:

  • Gather, process, and analyze data from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that support business growth initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain robust data models, reports, and dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools. These will provide actionable insights for our business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Your analysis will help assess and improve business performance.

  • Create and deliver regular reports that communicate insights and drive action. These reports may include monthly onboarding, channel and product scorecards, lending dashboards, competitor analysis, new market research, and more.

  • Develop visualizations that effectively communicate findings, tell stories, and support the decision-making process.

  • Analyze research data and report on trends or facts relevant to the Credit Union. This may include closed account trends, competitor pricing, service scores, and other pertinent data.

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data through effective data governance practices.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training program
  • One to three years of similar or related experience, including familiarity with Tableau (preferred but not required)
