The Network Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Credit Union’s servers, network, and virtual infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include maintaining strict network security levels, appropriate software license control, implementing hardware, software, and network upgrades, administration of the phone system, and assisting with second-tier support for the helpdesk.

 

This position is onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Fishers, Indiana

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities consist of:

 

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure
    • Assist with maintenance of the LAN and WAN.
    • Monitoring of system and security logs.
    • Perform maintenance and upgrades of the SAN infrastructure.
    • Installation of new equipment and software, hardware, and peripherals.
    • Installation and maintenance of server infrastructure
  • Maintain appropriate levels of network security:
    • Assistance with firewalls, EDR/MDR, AV, and the SIEM.
    • Monitoring and responding to security events and notifications.
    • Installation of system and software patches as necessary and in a timely fashion.
    • Ensure systems and servers always comply with security policies.
    • Coordination with third party vendors during network security audits.
    • Assistance with work from home access controls and policies.
  • Administration of server and PC hardware and software to include:
    • Resolution of problems in a timely manner.
    • Assist with equipment purchases and software upgrades.
    • Help with Technology Helpdesk escalations.
  • Maintain strict control over software licensing through strict enforcement of the credit union’s technology policy, and by keeping all licenses in a regularly maintained database.
  • Administration of VoIP phone system and related systems. Work with telecommunication providers when needed.
  • Assist with the Internet presence of the credit union to include maintaining email, web servers, and other Internet issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation for configurations, procedures, and incidents.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.

Qualifications

 

What we are looking for:

  • A two-year college degree or three years to five years of similar or related experience
  • Understanding of multiple network vendor devices, Windows, servers, vmware, and firewalls
  • Ability to work flexible schedule/hours
  • Availablity to work on-call rotation
